Elite Plastics is looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join our team. We are a family owned and operated business which specialises in fabrication services and plastic engineering, servicing the Mining, Marine, Agriculture, Domestic and Industrial sectors across Australia. We take pride in delivering high quality products with a professional and fast service.
We are currently looking for people with either Plastic Fabrication, Boilermaking, Sheet Metal or Fitter & Turner experience.
Duties will include (but will not be limited to):
· Fabrication of Plastic & Steel Products
· Interpretation of engineering drawings and specification
· Workshop housekeeping
· Use of Butt-Welding, extrusion welding and hot air welding equipment
· Both onsite CHPP work and offsite work within the mining industry
To be successful, you will possess the following skills:
· Ability and competence with the operation and maintenance of workshop machinery including electric hand tools
· Current Driver’s Licence is essential (Manual preferred), and Forklift experience would be an advantage
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· A strong and respectful knowledge of OH&S practices
· Willingness to work autonomously and in a team environment
· Ability to work from drawings unsupervised
· Excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to think on your feet
· Attention to detail and quality
· Able to meet tight deadlines
· Able to pass regular Drug & Alcohol testing
A Coal Board Medical along with a Standard 11, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry and Gas Test Atmosphere Statements of Attainment would also be an advantage.
