About the role
Plumbing Coordinator
We are currently looking for an experienced motivated licenced Plumber/ Gasfitter who is ready for the next step in their career. In the role of the Plumbing Coordinator, you will lead and organize our Plumbing department. You must be someone with the drive, passion, and ability to work with the management team as well as autonomously, to organise and coordinate the incoming Plumbing & Gas fitting jobs
Duties & responsibilities
- Schedule Organise and Supervise Plumbers and Gasfitters
- Set out time frames and maintain budgets and Schedules
- Check works completed and approved for invoicing
- Maintain Company Policies and procedures
- Liaise with clients and draft proposals for works required
- Complete and lodge Plumbing applications
- Maintain and update knowledge of current and incoming Plumbing, Gas fitting, and safety standards and legislation.
Skills & Experience
- Prior Supervisory position in the plumbing industry
- Hold a current Queensland Plumbers and Gas license
- Hold a current Queensland manual driver’s license
- Knowledge and experience in:
- Installation, Servicing and Repairing of Plumbing and Gas fitting systems and equipment
- Have a sound knowledge of:
- Current Gas fitting and Plumbing Standards
- Legislation and Local council requirements
- Have or be willing to obtain certificates in, but not limited to, working at heights, asbestos awareness, confined spaces, and EWP.
- Have sound computer, communication and organisational skills.
