Plumbing and Drainage Inspector

  •  Fixed Term Full Time (Until 31 October 2025)
  •  Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
  • Pro Rata amount of $98,887 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 5) + Superannuation
  • Location – Rockhampton

Your new role

Do you hold a Queensland plumbing and drainage licence and have experience working in the industry? Council is seeking a Plumbing and Drainage Inspector to join their team to ensure compliance with all legislation and asset management associated with water supply and sewerage for the Rockhampton community.

You will be required to use plumbing legislation to assess Plumbing and Drainage applications and monitor and undertake required inspections and testing.

You are technologically minded and have the ability to learn and use the Microsoft Office Suite and Council’s Pathway system.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

  • A trade qualification with a Queensland Plumber and Drainer’s Licence, and a Construction Industry Induction (White Card).
