We take great care to provide safe, and competitive seaport services to efficiently facilitate imports and exports through our Queensland ports.
North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP) is currently seeking a POM Manager to lead the establishment of Project Management Office (PMO) within NQBP’s. Reporting to the Senior Manager Engineering and Planning, the main responsibility of this role is developing frameworks, systems and processes and managing the delivery of the PMO functions to improve project management across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, this position will provide opportunities to enhance project management maturity and organisational capability to embed project management best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree qualification in Project Management or other relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in the establishment, delivery and management of Project Management Office functions.
- Demonstrated experience as a project manager, and the application of contemporary project management practices.
- Experience leading change management processes, particularly for organisational changes.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- The applicant will be required to hold a current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or the ability to obtain an MSIC within three months of commencing employment.
