About the Role

 We are currently seeking applications for a Crushing Operator based at Plane Creek Mill in Sarina. This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season, including weekends and overtime, and day work during the maintenance period.

The Crushing Operator position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the milling train including turbines and boiler generators. The role also provides general assistance to shift trades, operators and the Operations Coordinator where required.

 While the following qualifications are requirements in this role, we are prepared to provide training to people who possess the right aptitude and team fit: 

  • High Risk Work Licence - Turbine
  • Confined Space
  • Working at Heights

Desirable

  • High Risk Work Licence - Dogger, Forklift, EWP
  • Elevated Work Platform

 You will need to have excellent communication skills to provide regular/accurate feedback on work status. Other skills or tickets may be viewed favourably, please ensure these form part of your application.
