Golding is a successful mining, urban and civil infrastructure project management services business with projects and operations across Queensland and South Australia. Currently seeking experienced Production Excavator Operators interested in joining our team at the South Walker Creek Mine, just 1.5 hours from Mackay. With a strong partnership in place with our client Stanmore, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing project that has recently secured a five-year contract extension. 

This role operates on a 7/7 roster, rotating day and night shifts.  Accommodation and meals are provided, as well as bus transportation between camp and site.

 Role Requirements

  • Production Mining experience essential

  • Experience operating at least one of the following excavators is essential

    • Hitachi 3600

    • Hitachi 5500

    • Hitachi 5600

    • Liebherr 9600

  • Current Training Transcripts

  • Current Drivers Licence

  • Current Standard 11

  • Ability to pass Coal Board Medical, Functional Capacity Assessment and Drug & Alcohol screen 

  • Demonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviour
