Looking for your next move in the Bowen Basin? We're seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Operators to join a major open-cut mining operation with a well-established and safety-driven mining contractor.

Myndshift Group have been engaged by our client partner, a national mining company with a strong presence across Australia's major resource projects. We are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators & All Round Operators to join the production team at a large-scale open-cut operation at Byerwen Mine, Central Queensland.
 
About the Role
We are seeking experienced operators across Production Operators to support production activities across multiple pits on site. This is a hands-on production role within a high-performing mining team where safety, teamwork and reliability are key.
Roles Include:
  • Excavator Operators (Liebherr 9800 Excavators & Hitachi EX3600 Excavators)
  • All Round Operators (CAT 996 Loaders, CAT D10, D11 Dozers & 24M Graders)
  • Haul Truck Operators (CAT 789 and above & CAT 777 Watercarts)
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced open-cut operators looking for immediate starts with a respected contractor in the Bowen Basin.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Demonstrated experience in open-pit mining operations
  • Proven operating experience on relevant equipment
  • Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
  • Valid RII competencies for relevant machinery
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to follow site procedures
  • Ability to work both independently and within a production team
  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence
