About the role
Reporting to the Technical Specialist our new Production Systems Engineer, you’ll step into a dynamic and supportive environment where initiative is valued, and innovation is encouraged. In this role, you will facilitate the optimization, control and improvement of the Bayer process through data analysis, process modelling and Production reporting including month end accounting and forecasting.

Plan / Oversee planning of the key month end inputs with internal/external teams

Validate inputs and month end calculations

Use and improve site reporting systems

SysCAD plant modelling
-
Ownership of plant model
-
Process impact assessments, project valuations, production budget and tracking

Conduct process improvement projects – identify, value and document project through modelling / data analysis
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
-
A strong commitment to personal and team safety
-
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (desirable)
-
Experience working in an industrial processing plant (preferred)
-
Familiarity with the Bayer process (desirable)

A proven ability to develop and implement process solutions within a multi-disciplinary team environment
-
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting process issues and delivering practical, technical solutions
-
Excellent analytical thinking and effective verbal communication skills

A strong focus on customer service and achieving business outcomes
