Job Description

Carinity is looking for a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. This role will work between two of Carinity’s services – Carinity Communities Wahroonga and Carinity Youth On Track.

Carinity Communities Wahroonga is based in Rockhampton, where this role will spend approximately 80% of their time. The Program Manager will oversee the provision of professional counselling delivered at On Track, as well as manage a multidisciplinary team of Child and Family Therapists.

Carinity Youth On Track is based on Yeppoon, a short 35 minute drive from Rockhampton. The Program Manager will have the oversight of all aspects of the residential program. The Program Manager will work with the Program Coordinator at On Track to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the service.

What do I need for the role?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioural Sciences.
  • Experience in working with young people and families, especially in the areas of child protection, domestic and family violence, and /or child and adolescent mental health.
  • Ability to demonstrate and manage a multidisciplinary team through effective interpersonal engagement.
  • Sound knowledge of child protection issues and the Child Protection Act.
  • Ability to travel and work across sites.

About Carinity – Wahroonga
Carinity – Wahroonga provides therapeutic trauma informed services and support for children and young people (up to 17 years old) who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, and domestic and family violence. Therapeutic services are also available for protective care givers, siblings and/or anyone working with a child or young person who has been through these experiences.

On Track
