Project Administrator

Job Description

Great at keeping projects moving? We’ve got an admin role with your name on it.

Varied work. Responsibility. Real construction projects. An awesome team. Genuine room to grow your career with us.

TRM Fencing is growing, and we’re looking for a switched-on Project Administrator to join our Rockhampton team full-time. You’ll help keep projects organised, materials where they need to do, documentation on track and our site crews supported.

If you love days that fly by and being a part of a team that has your back, you’ll feel right at home here. We value our team members.

What you'll get:

  • A varied role where your work directly supports real projects and site crews

  • Exposure to project delivery, contracts, procurement, logistics and commercial administration

  • The opportunity to take ownership and become a trusted part of the team

  • Hands-on support from experienced project, commercial and administration team members

  • Direct access to decision-makers who listen, value initiative and act when support is needed

  • Strong systems and processes to help you succeed

  • Genuine learning and professional development opportunities

  • The chance to build valuable construction and project administration experience with clear pathways for long-term career development

  • A growing Central Queensland business where hard work is recognised and long-term career progression is genuinely supported

What you’ll be doing:

  • Setting up projects and keeping documents organised

  • Preparing claims and helping with variations

  • Raising purchase orders and tracking materials

  • Coordinating deliveries, travel and site requirements

  • Supporting Project Managers and crews through to handover

The role provides exposure to project management software, purchasing, costing, claims programming and contract administration.

We’re not looking for the perfect résumé.

We’re interested in the right attitude, strong organisation skills and the drive to learn and problem solve. Experience in construction or contracts will be valuable.

Why TRM?

We believe in honesty, hard work, quality, capability, loyalty and respect. We value people who are reliable, willing to have a go and committed to doing the job properly.

We’re a practical, hands-on business with strong systems and old school values.  We work together to get the job done properly.

If you’re doing well in your current role but wondering whether there’s an opportunity for more – we’d like to hear from you.
