Project Engineer - Mackay Based

Walz Group is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Mackay and the Bowen Basin.

About the role:

We are looking for a Project Engineer to work in the Mackay and Bowen Basin Region on our current and upcoming site-based projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager to advise on technical / engineering matters and provide support to staff involved on the project to ensure that goals and objectives of Walz Group are accomplished.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in, engineering or a related field 
• Experience working a previous project (highly regarded) 
• Quality Assurance Experience preferred but not necessary
• Project Controls Experience preferred but not necessary 
• The ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of relevant mining related legislation
• Able to work safely and comply with all site policies and procedures.
