About Our Client

Our client is a respected and award-winning commercial and civil construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects throughout Queensland. With a focus on safety, innovation and client satisfaction, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee project delivery and support continued business growth in the Mackay, Whitsunday and Queensland regions.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Managing commercial construction projects from planning through to completion

  • Overseeing project budgets, schedules and resource allocation

  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams

  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring key milestones are achieved

  • Maintaining compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures

  • Conducting site inspections and quality assurance reviews

  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder and client relationships

  • Identifying project risks and implementing effective solutions

 

What You Will Need

  • Certificate III in Carpentry and/or demonstrated Project Management experience

  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or Project Manager

  • Proven experience delivering Australian commercial construction projects

  • Current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence

  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification

  • Valid White Card (Construction Induction)

  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and site compliance requirements

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to be based in the Mackay and Whitsunday Regions

  • Willingness to travel throughout Queensland as required
