Job Description

TBG is a specialist provider across Queensland’s transport and energy networks, focusing on rail systems and power distribution, electrical and HVAC services

Due to the increase in the delivery of rail infrastructure projects, TBG are now looking for an experienced Project Manager.

The successful candidates will need to provide a current CV detailing previous experience working on infrastructure/civil projects.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage projects from initiation to completion.

  • Develop and maintain project estimates, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.

  • Develop strong customer relationships at the project level

  • Manage the delivery of customer projects to ensure high levels of client satisfaction

  • Lead and motivate project teams.

  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes. 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in infrastructure/civil construction

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project).

  • Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure/civil construction

  • Project Management Experience

  • Current driver’s licence

 Desirable:

  • Project Management or Trade qualification

  • Aurizon or Rail Infrastructure experience
