Location: Based in Paget Mackay, requires regular travel to various sites within the Bowen Basin.

About the Role
This role has been developed to support the expanding workload of the growing business. It requires a committed and passionate person with a special interest in mining component scope repairs, maintenance, welding and various welding standards. The role will require travel to sites across the region. Excellent communication skills are essential to ensure clarity of work repairs required between clients, companies and iScope.

- Boilermaker Trade Certificate
Desirable qualifications
- Certified Welding Inspector
- Certified Welding Supervisor
- Certified International Welding Specialist
- Supervisor qualifications; S1, S2 & S3
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current MSIC Card holder
- Current Construction White Card
- Forklift ticket
- EWP ticket
Essential experience
- A 100% commitment to safety;
- Extensive experience in both onsite and offsite mining componentry repairs;
- Extensive welding experience in the Mining Industry;
- Extensive knowledge and skill set in multiple welding processes;
- Proven QA/QC experience in multiple welding standards;
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office and Word;
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills to enable clear and concise communication of plans;
- Experience in Risk Management processes;
- Minimum of C class manual driver’s licence;
- Knowledge and experience in planning and scoping structural/weld repairs;
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills.
