We are currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Coordinator to join our Gladstone Operations team, on a long-term contract.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule and to client specifications
• Managing, implementing and monitoring quality systems.
• Training and qualifying welding personnel
• Supervising and conducting inspections of welding activities.
What you will bring:
• Current Weld Australia Welding Supervisor AS1796 certificate 10 and/ or IWS qualification
• Previous experience working in a similar role preferably in Alumina or other continuous processing plant.
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate - Fabrication
• Supervising and conducting inspections of welding activities.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Experience in effective management of personnel, resources and equipment to meet Project requirements
• A proven track record in effective health and safety management on site
• A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
