Join Our Team as a Youth Coordinator (Out of Home Care) at MADEC!
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Officer to join our team. The Quality & Compliance Officer will be passionate about maintaining high compliance standards and supporting the efficient monitoring of compliance functions and quality-related initiatives. Specifically we are looking for a motivated individual who possesses knowledge of NDIS Commission reporting requirements for restrictive practices and able to implement compliance systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance procedures and be able to work independently to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
Great part time role- flexible- 30hrs per week.
About the Role:
The role of Quality & Compliance Officer involves providing support and assistance to the clients, staff, Service Managers, Strategic Quality Manager and Quality & WHS Coordinator in ensuring the efficient monitoring of compliance functions and supporting a range of compliance and quality-related initiatives. The officer also undertakes a range of support activities and audits against the accreditation standards related to NDIS and OOHC. you will:
- Effectively provide support: Support administrative activities and prepare quantitative and qualitative data and accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders specifically relating to restrictive practices but not limited to and under the direction of Quality & WHS Coordinator and support quality and compliance activities.
- Foster a Safe Environment: Support the monitoring of quality and risk systems and work practices to identify compliance to standards.
- Provide accurate and timely data management: Support the monthly audits and quality inspections and follow up as necessary and assist with incident register and reporting under the direction of the Quality & WHS Coordinator. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Build Effective Relationships: Engage and develop relationships with clients and stakeholders.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Minimum: 2 years’ experience in NDIS or Out of Home Care sector experience, essential you have the experience of working within the Disability sector / NDIS or experience in similar role or with equivalent experience.
• Licenses: A valid Queensland Driver’s License.
• Screening: Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening and LCS2.
• Availability: Participate in on-call roster rotation.
