Due to a pipeline of current and forecasted future works, Civmec Gladstone are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified Coordinator QA/QC to join our expanding team. This position is offered on a full-time permanent basis from our new Callemondah Workshop and will play a key role in our continued growth.

The Role
  • Manage, track and report on Quality metrics.
  • Provide QA/QC support across all scopes of work and be a focal point to manage all Quality issues.
  • Provide leadership in the implementation of robust QA/QC processes including project completion ITR's and completion system allocations.
  • Review and monitor Subcontractor QA/QC processes to ensuring contract requirements ae met.
  • To assess and report on quality systems and performance, based on set objectives and targets.
  • Facilitate development and implementation of Project Quality Plans, ITP's, Procedures.
  • Ensure work performed is in compliance with Civmec and applicable client specifications, policies, standards and procedures.
  • Ensuring all Audit (Internal & External) actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee implementation of quality related documentation including AS/International standards, project specifications, method statements, forms, checklists and assist the project to select and where appropriate tailor and/or develop checklists and instructions to meet project requirements.
  • Develop, coordinate and deliver quality management related training of all employees in QA/QC responsibilities, processes and expected outcomes as appropriate.
About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • 2 - 3 years proven Industry experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and technical knowledge.
  • Relevant qualifications in QA/QC disciplines e.g. CSWIP (IWI/3.1), Cert 10, NACE, Lead Auditor
  • Proven experience working with Quality Management Systems aligned with ISO9001.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of welding and allied processes (Including AS, ASME & ISO Standards) and related NDE requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of OHS&E requirements in accordance with company Safety Management Policies, Plans and Procedures.
