Beach 2 Bush (B2B) Healthcare is a local Allied Health service offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy and accredited exercise physiology. B2B aims to offer a consistent, quality and individualised service to the Gladstone community. We are seeking an experienced Reception Manager to join our team and help manage the day-to-day operations of our busy clinic. Key Responsibilities:
• Greeting clients, scheduling and managing appointments.
• Managing email, phone and in-person enquiries.
• Accurate data entry of client information.
• Invoicing and receipting of client accounts, including private health fund accounts and insurance claims.
• Managing client records, including scanning and filing of paper-based correspondence.
• Maintaining strict client confidentiality and discretion in dealing and disposing with all client information and medical records.
• Maintaining cleanliness within the clinic to include daily checks of the workspace.
• Maintaining accurate records of stock take.
• Supporting the clinical team through confirming client bookings, managing accurate documentation and maintaining room resources. 
• Complete start and end of day procedures, including unlocking/locking premises, and turning on/off electronic systems.

 

Qualifications and Attributes:
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a reception or administration role, ideally in a healthcare setting.
• Scheduling experience with a strong attention to detail.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a polite and professional demeanour. 
• Be well presented, compassionate and caring.
• Have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Have excellent organisational and time management skills, being able to multitask and prioritise tasks. 
• Have experience in a similar receptionist role. 
• Have knowledge of administrative and billing processes, strong computer literacy, experience with Cliniko and Tyro Health, and good knowledge of health terminology.
• Fast, accurate typing preferred.
• Computer skills including use of Microsoft Outlook and Office 365 (Share Point).
• Be willing to learn and able to adapt to changes.
• Be able to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
• Be a reliable and trustworthy team player.
• Adhere to the highest level of strict professional communication and confidentiality.
• Experience in coordinating and liaising professionally with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
