Are you an experienced customer service professional who loves animals and thrives in a friendly and caring clinic environment?

High Street Vet Surgery is seeking a confident, organised, and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our dedicated team in North Rockhampton.


💼 About the Role

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and supporting our veterinary team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism

  • Managing appointments, phone calls, and enquiries in a timely manner.

  • Supporting the veterinary team with administrative tasks

  • Handling payments and maintaining accurate records

  • Providing reassurance and empathy to pet owners during visits


🐾 About You

We are looking for an experienced candidate who:

  • Has proven customer service or reception experience (veterinary experience highly regarded, but not essential)

  • Has a minimum of 6-12 months customer service or reception experience

  • Is highly proficient with computer systems and able to learn new software quickly

  • Has experience with ezyVet or similar veterinary practice management software (highly regarded but not essential)

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Can remain calm, professional, and compassionate in emotional situations

  • Works well in a busy, team-oriented environment

Hours

Clinic hours include weekdays and possibly weekend shifts (Saturday mornings), so flexibility of the position is available.
