About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team on an ongoing project located in the Bowen Basin.  In this role, you will work within a facilities management environment, providing breakdown support, carrying out preventative maintenance, and contributing to ongoing site maintenance and project works. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes ownership, works efficiently and maintains high safety standards.

About You:

We are looking for reliable and motivated tradesperson who takes pride in delivering quality work in a high-performing team environment. You will also have previous experience in mining or similar heavy industrial environment and hold current tickets as listed below:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role

  • Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

  • QBCC - Mechanical Occupational License (Refrigeration/Air-Conditioning) (Required)

  • Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)

  • Standard 11 (Highly desirable)

  • BMA Core (Highly desirable)

  • Drivers Licence

  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test (highly preferred)
