A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Technician (HVAC) to join our small but dynamic trades team and assist in the preventative and reactive maintenance of our mining accommodate village in the Bowen Basin, near Coppabella.

The roster is 7/7 – 12 hour days and is a drive-in, drive-out role, therefore locals are encouraged to apply.

Accommodation and meals all included.

The Position

  • Responding to breakdowns, preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs
  • Responsible for preparing new installations of refrigerating systems
  • Performing maintenance and repairs to defective equipment and testing components
  • Performing pre-start inspections and keeping an audit report

The Person

  • Current QLD trade qualification
  • Full Refrigerant Handling Licence (endorsed RAC)
  • A current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Remote experience in the resources sector
  • Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces
  • QBCC licence
  • Well versed in all maintenance processes and workplace health and safety regulations
  • Be able to provide a current police check and drivers licence
