Registered/ Enrolled Nurse/Assistant in Nursing

About the role

Port Curtis Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Registered/Enrolled Nurse/AIN to join our friendly team on a casual basis. Working in our medical centre located in Gladstone, QLD, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients.

4 days work offered. 

What you'll be doing

• Assisting doctors with medical examinations and treatments

• Administering medications and injections under the supervision of a registered medical practitioner

• Monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any changes to the doctor

• Providing holistic nursing care to patients, including wound care, health education and emotional support

• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures

• Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia for RN/EN applications.

• AIN - no certificates required.

• Preferred to have their spirometry and DAS certificates, however not essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds

• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and a desire to contribute to the overall success of the medical centre

• Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
