Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our supportive team in a permanent full or part-time position, working in our Rockhampton Mater Hospital clinic. The role is Monday to Friday with shifts between 7am-9pm offering a great work life balance.


What will you be doing?
This role involves assisting our Radiologists and Technical staff with interventional procedures, and providing high quality pre, intra and post procedure nursing care to both outpatients and inpatients. There are development opportunities such as training in Cannulation and Advanced Life Support

Other duties include:


  • Assisting with Interventional Radiology Cases such as Pain Management Injections, Biopsies, Drainages, Central Line Insertions
  • Pre and Post Procedural Preparation and Care
  • Care of hospital inpatients whilst in the department
  • Stringent record keeping
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team

    Desirable but not essential:
  • Cannulation Skills
  • Previous Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural Nursing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary team
