REGISTERED NURSE Yeppoon / Emu Park

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our well-equipped practices located in Yeppoon and Emu Park. This permanent part-time role offers an opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of experienced nurses and general practitioners, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a supportive and inclusive environment. You will be required to work across both sites and provide relief for other nursing staff as necessary.

Key responsibilities

• Administering immunisations and managing post-vaccine observations

• Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations

• Supporting GPs with minor surgical procedures

• Maintaining accurate patient clinical data

• Wound care, including dressings, suture removal, ear health and iron infusions

• Providing patient education and coaching to support health outcomes

• Contributing to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented practice culture

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Immunisation experience preferred

• Experience with Best Practice software

• Previous experience in General Practice or an acute care setting

• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
