Reliability Specialist

About the Role

Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Reliability Specialist to join our award-winning team in Mackay. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.

This role primarily exists to identify, recommend & support opportunities for improvement of Caterpillar Mining equipment to achieve maximum performance and lowest cost for the equipment life through reliability analysis & improvement processes.

As a Reliability Specialist you will:

• Be responsible for product problem / product issue management in your field of responsibility
• Conduct fleet performance reviews
• Perform root cause analysis including data acquisition and analysis
• Take ownership of reliability improvement principles
• Undertake a reasonable amount of travel for face to face customer interactions on a monthly basis

About You

A successful teammate will have experience in:

• Relevant trade qualification
• CAT dealership experience
• Demonstratable experience in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships and vendor engagement
• Strong attention to detail
• Open drivers license
• Ability to travel on a monthly basis
