Job Description

As a Remote Area Nurse, you’ll be providing comprehensive primary health care and emergency services to remote communities. You’ll work autonomously or as part of a small team, making a real impact in locations where your care matters most.

Duties May Include:
  • Primary health care and chronic disease management
  • Emergency response and triage
  • Health promotion and education
  • Working in partnership with Aboriginal Health Workers and community leaders
  • Recent remote experience + On Call
To Be Considered, You’ll Need:
  • Minimum 4 years’ recent RAN or rural/remote experience
  • IMMS cert, ALS, MEC, REC or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
  • Unrestricted Drivers Licence – must be able to drive a manual
  • National Police Clearance and WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to work in diverse communities
