About the Role:
At MADEC, our Residential Youth Workers are the backbone of our mission to provide safe, nurturing, and supportive home environments for young people who have experienced trauma and neglect.
Working under the guidance of our experienced Team Leaders and Youth Coordinators, you will:
• Support and Guide: Provide day-to-day care, teaching practical and social skills, and preparing young people for adulthood.
• Foster a Safe Environment: Create a consistent and nurturing atmosphere that empowers young people to thrive.
• Be a Role Model: Lead by example, helping young people develop the confidence and skills they need to navigate life's challenges.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Qualifications: Cert IV in Child, Family, and Youth Intervention (or equivalent) or willingness to obtain it.
• Licenses: A valid Queensland Driver’s License.
• Screening: Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening and LCS2.
• Availability: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
• Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting young people and contributing to a positive team culture.
