We are well positioned for growth and currently offer a great opportunity for a safety-focused sales professional to join our Nutrien Water Gladstone team.

About the role:

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be exposed to various areas of the business including but not limited to.

• Retail and trade sales on a variety of products within our water business including irrigation, pumping, mining and filtration

• Answering customer enquires via phone calls, emails, site visits and instore with an emphasis on growing trade sales

• Preparing estimates and assisting with project pricing and product selection

• Stocktakes

• Invoicing

• Warehouse/dispatch activities including customer deliveries

• This role is diverse and extensive training will be provided

To be successful, it is desirable if you can demonstrate:

• Experience in the irrigation industry, in similar or other roles

• Experience within the irrigation industry (commercial, domestic, turf or related sectors)

• Strong product and system knowledge across irrigation, pumping and/or filtration solutions

• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage customer enquiries across phone, email, in-store and on-site environments

• High quality customer service

• Experience and a passion for sales and building client relationships

• Ability to work in a team

• Can do attitude - eager to learn and grow

• Ability to work effectively in a safety-focused environment

• Either hold or be willing to obtain a forklift license.

• Clean and current driver’s license is essential for this role.
