About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Mining and Resources Specialist to join our Milwaukee Team. In this role you will be accountable for maintaining and expanding on relationships with strategically important end user customers within the channel.

Ideally this role would suit a qualified tradesperson who is seeking a new and exciting opportunity. Your territory will expand across a vast area of northern Queensland, with the main locations being Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Roma.

Key Objective:

To create user demand for Milwaukee across all categories and understand the path to purchase. Maintain, support and service the end user to create the best user experience possible by offering solution-based selling.

Key duties:

  • Execute innovative sales strategies to convert users from existing brands to Milwaukee across all product categories.
  • Work closely with JSS & Vertical specialist to achieve best outcomes and mission alignment.
  • Implement the user focussed channel marketing strategies defined by the Channel Managers.
  • Participate in sales events, state industry meetings, and social networks to represent company's brand.
  • Have the willingness to learn and develop in line with the company's competency framework.
  • Manage, develop, and maintain new and existing end users on the Milwaukee platform.
  • Overnight travel required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Trade background, preferred.
  • Mining experience (preferred but not essential)
  • High level communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • High level organisational, time management and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to take ownership and be accountable.
