We’re seeking an experienced Scaffold Supervisor to join our team on local project based in Mackay. This is a great opportunity for a motivated leader who’s passionate about safety, quality, and teamwork to lead our scaffolding team. We offer great pay and a supportive crew, position starting in November.
Once the candidate has successful passed probation and evaluation period, the opportunity for full time employment will be offered for the duration of this project. Local only need apply no FIFO.
The right candidates shall be self-motivated with a positive attitude, the ability to work autonomously, and a proactive approach to safety.
The Person:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following tickets and experience:
Essential:
-
Advanced Scaffolding Ticket (HRL)
-
Supervisor training
-
Working at Heights within 2 years
-
Drivers Licence
-
White Card must be post 2009
-
MSIC (preferred) or able to obtain
-
Able to pass drug and medical
Skills and Experience:
-
Overseeing daily scaffolding operations on-site
-
Coordinating and supervising scaffold crews (Basic to Advanced levels)
-
Ensuring all scaffolding is erected, altered, and dismantled safely and in compliance with site and industry standards

Conducting site safety inspections and toolbox meetings
-
Liaising with site management and clients to ensure smooth project delivery

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to follow process and procedures

Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

Excellent attitude towards health, safety and environment
