Job Description

Omega Security Services provides fully trained and experienced tertiary qualified security personnel. Our people are personable and effective in their customer service to ensure they work well with your staff. Ensuring the safety of your people and assets is our priority.

We’re currently experiencing a significant growth phase in the remote sector, specifically throughout our Central QLD Region. Having recently been awarded an exciting new project with Anglo American, servicing villages in Middlemount, Moranbah and Moura, we are currently looking for experienced Security Officers.

Working with well-regarded clients, the successful candidate will work an 7:7 roster, working 12 hour days. Flights ex Brisbane, accommodation and meals included. Locals are encouraged to apply on a drive-in, drive-out basis.

The Position

  • Ensure site integrity and safety
  • Site access control for people and vehicles
  • Mobile security checks of site perimeter, camp and laydown areas
  • Maintain daily security logs
  • Emergency response and incident control

The Person

  • Minimum of 2 years experience 
  • Minimum Cert II Security Operations
  • Hold a valid QLD Security Officers license 
  • Current first aid and CPR
