H1 Healthcare is seeking experienced Youth Workers for casual agency shifts across the Gold Coast and Brisbane regions. Work with one of our key national clients and enjoy flexible AM, PM, Night, and Sleepover shifts available immediately.


About the Role

As a Youth Worker, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed care and support to young people in residential care settings. Your role will involve:

• Delivering mental health and behavioural support
• Providing one-on-one and group-based care
• Supporting young people through crisis and emotional challenges
• Implementing trauma-informed practices
• Contributing to a safe, stable, and positive living environment
• Engaging in recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families

Mandatory Requirements (Essential)

• Diploma in Youth Work, Community Services, or related field
• Demonstrated experience working in a residential care facility
• Current Blue Card and Yellow Card (or relevant state equivalents)
• Current National Police Check
• Valid LCS2 certification
• Proven experience in Trauma-Informed Care
• Completion of Hope and Healing Framework training
