Senior Advisor Investment Attraction 

  • Permanent Full Time
  • Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
  • $106,584 – $113,742 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 6) + Superannuation
  • Location – Rockhampton

The Rockhampton Region is the economic capital of Central Queensland and is continuing to experience strong economic growth. Advance Rockhampton as the economic development, tourism marketing and events arm of Rockhampton Regional Council requires an enthusiastic Senior Advisor Investment Attraction with a high level of communication and collaborative skills.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What we are looking for

  • Degree qualifications in Business, Economics, Property or Supply Chain Management (or related discipline) and/or equivalent demonstrated knowledge and experience in investment attraction.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing clients with a consultative service throughout the investment lifecycle, including following through on client requests, facilitating key introductions, anticipating client needs, and providing end-to-end guidance throughout the establishment of new operations.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a wealth of experience in managing stakeholder engagement and the ability to multi-task.

Application Criteria

  • Degree qualifications in Business, Economics, Property or Supply Chain Management and/or demonstrated experience in investment attraction.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective investment attraction strategy plans.
  •  Experience leading the continuous improvement of investment and funding frameworks and processes.
