The role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Contracts and Program Governance Officer to support the commissioning, contract management, and performance oversight of Urgent Care Clinic services across the NQPHN region. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative professional who can bring strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills to help ensure services are high quality, compliant, and responsive to community needs. In this role you will:

Play a key role in strengthening Urgent Care Clinic services through contract management, governance, and performance oversight.

Work closely with internal teams, commissioned providers, and external stakeholders to support high-quality, community-responsive care.

Contribute to meaningful health outcomes by supporting compliance, continuous improvement, and evidence-based decision-making.
What you'll do

Support the planning, commissioning, and continuous improvement of Urgent Care Clinic services in line with the DHDA and NQPHN Commissioning Cycle.

Coordinate contract administration, maintain accurate governance documentation, and monitor key deliverables, milestones, and reporting obligations.

Analyse provider performance data and prepare reports, dashboards, briefs, and updates to support governance and decision-making.

Build and maintain effective relationships with providers, Department representatives, and internal stakeholders to support quality service delivery.

Coordinate meetings, track actions, and support assurance processes relating to compliance, risk, clinical governance, and service quality.

Key selection criteria

Qualifications in a relevant field, for example health administration/management or public health, and three-years related experience

Contract administration and performance monitoring experience, ideally in a health, community or public sector environment.

Strong understanding of commissioning processes, program governance, and primary care service delivery.

Demonstrated analytical and reporting skills.

Developed stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
