As a result of continued & sustained growth within our Mackay office, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and results driven Senior Electrical Engineer to work on a variety of projects throughout the region.

Working closely with the Team Leader, Building Services, this role encompasses Buildings, Defence, Water Infrastructure & Civil Infrastructure projects in an environment that will encourage you to thrive as part of a motivated and committed multi-disciplinary team.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Interesting projects through all phases, from tender preparation and design delivery through to construction support.
  • Direct client engagement during delivery and active involvement in winning work.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
  • Managing multi-discipline projects, while engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor Of Engineering – Electrical.
  • RPEQ/CPEng.
  • Road Lighting and Traffic Signal Design experience.
  • Electrical Building Services Design experience.
  • Water and Wastewater Infrastructure experience.
  • Preparation of technical reports, tenders’ specifications, and documents.
  • Fully conversant with Australian standards, electrical acts, and supply authority regulations.
  • Strong communications skills, including client liaison experience.
  • Experience In Design and Documentation of Electrical Services; Including Electrical Overhead and Underground Power Reticulation and Distribution Systems, Lighting, Controls, Communications, and Earthing.
  • Experience in preparation of Project Proposals and Cost Estimates.
  • Experience in dealings and liaison with clients, contractors, architects, civil engineers, project engineers in multi-discipline project teams, and with authorities such as Energex, Transport and Main Roads and local councils in Queensland.
  • Computer proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Perfect Lite, AGi32, and Microsoft Office.
