About the role

This is a full-time position located in Rockhampton/Yeppoon, QLD 4700, working for The Flyscreen Guy. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of security screens and outdoor blinds for residential and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing

  1. Install security screens and outdoor blinds to customer specifications

  2. Perform maintenance and repairs on existing security screens and outdoor blinds

  3. Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide expert advice

  4. Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail

  5. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations

  6. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation and maintenance process

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a fitter or installer of security screens and outdoor blinds

  2. Strong practical skills and expertise in measuring, cutting, and installing a variety of screen and blind products

  3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  5. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation

  6. Flexible and adaptable to changing job requirements

  7. Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
