About this opportunity:
As a Senior ICT Network Engineer, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of secure and reliable network systems. You will ensure the infrastructure supports vital community services while working on cutting-edge technology projects. This role includes leading significant initiatives that enhance our digital capabilities.
In this position, you will design, deploy, and manage a range of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. A critical part of your role will be ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of ICT systems while adhering to industry standards. You will develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and troubleshoot connectivity issues to maintain optimal operation.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Qualification in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology and or industry equivalent qualifications.

- Degree (preferred); or
- Diploma; or
- Lesser formal qualifications combined with significant relevant experience.
- Certifications in a relevant field such as HPE Aruba Networking, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, or similar will be desirable
- Extensive expertise in ICT infrastructure, project delivery, network security compliance, and supporting both on-premise and cloud solutions across diverse locations.
- Adaptability, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, critical thinking, independent problem-solving, and proficiency with corporate systems and Microsoft Office.
