This committed service welcomes an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their warm and supportive team as they endeavour to change the lives of their clients. This role boasts opportunities: Grow in your desired direction (leadership, clinical supervision and more!). You will be working with a small, friendly team providing clinic-based and community service delivery to adults with a range of diagnoses. 
 

The Role:

  • Undertake assessments - assessment of daily living capabilities and provide intervention with a focus on evidence-based practice.
  • Major and minor home modification recommendations
  • Prescription of equipment, assistive technologies and other therapy supports
  • Liaison with families and other relevant stakeholders
  • Providing treatment, guidance and education to individuals and their carers 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration).
  • Some clinical experience
  • Good written and verbal communication with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is engaging.
  • Current driver’s license and car
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
