Senior Technical Officer
Council is seeking to appoint a maximum term full time Senior Technical Officer to contribute to Council’s success. This position is a maximum term opportunity for project work with a projected end date of June 2026.

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide engineering support and advice into the delivery of asset operations, maintenance plans and renewals programs to maximise the value of Council assets while minimising whole of life cost and to identify opportunities to maximise the asset value within the risk parameters.
You will bring:

Substantial relevant experience in a technical field similar to the role.

Understanding and experience of asset management principals.

Problem solving, organisational, prioritisation and sound analytical skill.

Proficient skills in reading and applying civil engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.

White card to allow for access to construction zones.
-
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
