Septic Truck Operator

Due to an increased demand for our services we are seeking a Septic Truck Operator to join our team in the GLADSTONE REGION. 

Requirements:

• MR Licence (HR licence preferred)
• Ensure truck is in clean; good working condition at all times by performing pre and post trip inspections
• Understand Safety and PPE requirements
• You will be expected to complete relevant paperwork for your jobs
• Drive trucks safely to and from work sites
• Must be able to work safely at all times
• Must manage time effectively
• Good customer service skills

Tasks performed:

• Drive and operate trucks/equipment to complete jobs
• Carry out daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles
• Load and unload lengths of hose and assemble to appropriate length to connect tank to truck
• Operate vacuum pump to complete pump out of septics and portaloos
• Document jobs and complete all required paperwork on a daily basis
• Transport effluent to transfer stations and discharge loads
• Using proper tie-down procedures, secure materials to be transported to ensure the safety and security of the load
• Assist with general labor duties when needed
• Delivery and collection of portaloos
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
