Service Advisor/Sales Person

Diesel Power Unlimited are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Service Advisor/Sales Person. 

We offer a competitive pay rate and a great workplace atmosphere working a 9 day fortnight with every second Friday off. 

Diesel Power Unlimited is a well established business, specialising in all levels of diesel performance, general mechanical and automotive industry parts supply.

As the newest addition to DPU your duties will include but not be limited to the following: 

• Work alongside our supportive team of trade professionals to quote and provide the best recommendations for our customers and book their vehicles in for chosen works to be carried out.

• General admin duties such as greeting customers and ensuring the required paperwork is completed along with key drop and vehicle pics.

• Have a sound understanding of 4x4 vehicles.

• Liaise with our Mechanical and Warehouse staff to ensure a high standard of workmanship and customer service along with organisation of all parts for upcoming works daily in advance.

• Building and maintaining business relationships with new and existing customers.

• Marketing and social media management on all platforms.

• Liaising with Customers and Suppliers.

• Communicate clearly with customers both before, during and after the sales process.

The successful applicant will require these following skills; 

• We need the confidence that you know what you’re talking about when liaising with customers. The position would suit a previous 4x4 retail sales person or enthusiasts with a previous sales or service related role.

• Exceptional customer service and sales skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

• We are wanting someone highly driven and motivated.

• Willingness to learn and conduct research, as our industry is always changing in new directions.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritise/time manage very well.

• Exceptional organisational skills.

• Professional phone manner.

• The ability to work unassisted, as well as a part of a team.

• A natural drive to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.

• Memory retention and the ability to learn the product we sell.

• Our Sales legend's are all-rounders who do a mixture of retail sales, quoting, 4X4 build and diesel performance package sales, customer service and everything in between, so never a dull moment….
