About the Role
This full-time permanent position is based in our Rockhampton office, where you’ll be part of the North Queensland Service Delivery team, overseeing both customers and staff. You’ll lead a dynamic operational team that delivers a broad range of support services, including In-Home Support, Community Access, Short-Term Accommodation, Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes, a community hub, and a Youth Experiences program. In this position, you’ll take on a key leadership role within our team. You’ll be overseeing the SILs to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery, effective communication, and a supportive environment for both staff and customers. You’ll be responsible for managing operations, creating opportunities, and ensuring services are aligned with the needs of customers across a variety of settings.

With a strong focus on delivering the organisation’s core mission and driving positive outcomes for customers, their families, and the broader team, this is a rewarding leadership role. What You’ll Be Doing
• Ensure services align with Multicap’s goals and customer needs
• Provide strong leadership and support to your team
• Lead and develop staff to deliver personalised, high-quality services
• Help recruit staff based on service requirements
• Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
• Oversee customer referrals, assessments, and service entry
• Create individual service plans, budgets, and quotes
• Manage feedback and resolve complaints effectively
• Support financial targets by helping plan budgets and taking action when needed

Experience, Skills and Qualifications 
• Qualifications in human services or a related field, or equivalent proven experience
• Thorough understanding of the NDIS framework
• Strong skills in managing staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
• Experience creating Person-Centred Plans using a positive behaviour approach
• Knowledge of relevant laws, safety procedures, and workplace policies
• Confident in managing budgets and providing advocacy when needed
 
 Essential Requirements  
• Current Driver’s Licence 
• Senior First Aid & CPR Certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
• QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
