Job Description

Your New Role:
Secure a permanent opportunity within our on-site maintenance team at Middlemount Coal Mine, working a 7/7 rotating roster that supports real work–life balance.

You will play a key role supporting the fleet and ensuring equipment is serviced, fuelled and maintained to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Operating a service truck, including refuelling and lubrication
  • Assisting trades with general servicing and maintenance of mobile plant
  • Identifying, recording and reporting faults or damage during servicing
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance and service documentation
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team
  • Actively promoting and adhering to MacKellar’s strong safety culture
This role is ideal for an experienced Service Person who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and puts safety first.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • RIISAM212D – Service mine plant and equipment
  • HR driver’s licence
  • Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and safety-focused mindset
