Shotfirer's Assistant / Blast Crew - Bowen Basin - EOI

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Shotfirer's Assistants and Blast Crew members as we build our talend pool in preparation for quick mobilisations to future blasting projects in QLD's Bowen Basin.

Reporting to the Shotfirer and Supervisor you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following activities:

• Assist in pattern markup
• Assist in quality assurance checks of drill patterns and blast holes
• Assist in the placement of signage
• Assist with the priming, loading and stemming operations
• Work is in accordance with safety regulations
• Safely handle all explosives
• Other duties as required and as directed by the Shotfirer

Desirable Experience and Qualifications required:

• Driver Licence
• Standard 11
• RII for Support Shotfiring Operations
• Experience in a similar role - we are not seeking interest from entry-level workers on this ocassion.
• QESC - Queensland Explosives Security Clearance
