The Company

Concentis is partnering with a Tier 1 mining company to source an experienced Shutdown Supervisor / Leader (E&I) for an upcoming major shutdown commencing in early September. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing shutdown team, leading critical maintenance activities within a large-scale industrial operation.

This is a 12–14 week contract working a Lifestyle Roster across both day and night shifts. We are seeking experienced shutdown leaders with a strong Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) background who thrive in fast-paced maintenance environments and are committed to delivering safe, efficient shutdown outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate E&I shutdown activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and to a high standard.
  • Lead and support shutdown crews while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Coordinate daily work plans, permits and contractor activities.
  • Liaise with maintenance, operations and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, manage resources and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with site procedures, quality standards and shutdown schedules.
About You To be successful, you will ideally have:
  • Previous experience as a Shutdown Supervisor, Shutdown Leader or Shutdown Manager.
  • Strong Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) maintenance or shutdown background.
  • Experience supervising large shutdown workforces within heavy industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
  • Current Australian working rights.
