About the Opportunity
Wisely is seeking skilled and reliable Boilermakers, Fitters, Riggers and Trade Assistants for shutdown works at Collinsville Mine. This project offers consistent shutdown work, great pay, and a supportive team environment with a respected employer in the Bowen Basin.
Scope of Works
The project involves detailed work in the Collinsville Mine laydown yard, which currently holds a large volume of mixed and unsorted parts.
Key tasks include:
- Tradespersons (Fitters and Boilermakers) will interpret and work from drawings to identify and sort mechanical parts
- Storepersons and Trade Assistants will support the logistics process, using inventory knowledge and sorting skills to assist with accurate categorisation
- Riggers will be responsible for the safe movement and placement of items into correctly designated areas within the laydown pad
This is a crucial stage of the shutdown requiring a high level of organisation, mechanical understanding, and teamwork.

To Be Considered, You Will Need
- A relevant Australian recognised trade qualification (if applicable)
- High Risk Work Licence (if applicable)
- Current driver's licence
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures
- Forklift Licence (Storeperson) required
You Must Hold or Be Willing to Obtain:
- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Glencore Induction (high regarded)
