UpCare is a registered NDIS provider, specializing in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Access for NDIS participants. We’re seeking a House Manager to play a pivotal role in leading our teams, fostering a client-centered approach, and ensuring the excellence of our services in Rockhampton.
What You'll Do:
As our House Manager, you will:
- Lead & Manage a team of dedicated support workers across multiple SIL Homes and Community Access services.
- Oversee the daily management of services, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Develop Rosters and manage support staff, ensuring optimal coverage and care delivery.
- Engage & Collaborate with families, stakeholders, and community partners to enhance service delivery and grow UpCare’s presence in the region.
- Support Participants in achieving their goals for independence and improve the quality of life for each individual.
- Ensure Best Practices are followed, and strive for continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Drive Growth of UpCare’s services by networking, building relationships, and promoting our programs in the community.
- Work Closely with our Rockhampton Team Leader and the National Team Lead to ensure a cohesive and supportive management approach.
Who You Are:
We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of leadership, experience, and passion for improving the lives of people living with disabilities. Ideally, you will have:
- Tertiary Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Human Services, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 2+ years of experience in team leadership, management, or similar roles within the disability or health services sector.
- Experience in rostering, managing teams, and using care management software such as Visual Care (or similar).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to network effectively with stakeholders to grow services and maintain strong community relationships.
- An in-depth knowledge of the NDIS and relevant legislation.
- Experience working with participants living with disabilities, mental health conditions, and collaborating with families and external agencies (e.g., Office of the Public Guardian).
- Business development skills to support the growth and sustainability of services would be highly desirable.
