ABOUT OUR CLIENT

The Yarrabee mine is an open-cut coal operation located near Blackwater in Central Queensland, supplying high-quality coal for domestic and international markets. Yancoal prides itself on safety, sustainability, and supporting local communities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Single Skilled Haul Truck Operator, you will be working on a coal mine in the Blackwater region. You will be required to safely operate CAT 789, CAT 793, KOMATSU 830E, or Hitachi EH5000 trucks. This role offers a 7/7 roster with 12.5-hour shifts.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience operating Haul Trucks within a mining or heavy industrial environment

• Experience on CAT789, CAT793, KOMATSU 830E, or HITACHI EH5000 trucks highly desirable

• Understanding of the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and relevant regulations

• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork

• Current Standard 11 Mine Induction (Surface)

• Current Queensland Driver’s Licence

• QLD Coal Board Medical

• Applicable Coal Competencies

• Current Right To Work in Australia
