Our Company

Mackellar are the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland. Production is in full swing at the mine site located in the Galilee Basin and we’re excited to be building our team!
 
About the role

Bring your Site Administrative experience and skills and become a part of something exciting. These opportunities don't come along every day. Townsville and Rockhampton are our primary recruitment hubs, we also encourage and will consider applicants from all regional Queensland communities.
  • Provide general administrative support to departments inclusive of; reporting, data entry, scheduling, minute taking, filing and archiving documents as required
  • Support the onboarding of new workers
  • Provide payroll administrative support as required 
  • Arrange travel and accommodation bookings for workers, contractors, and guests as required 
  • Provide support for event planning, client meetings and management 
  • General ad-hoc duties as required.
Your skills and experience
  • Prior experience in a mine site-based administrative position 
  • Experience in Outlook, Word and Excel processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures 
  • Proven ability to build positive working relationships with co-workers and respectfully interact with a wide variety of people in a diverse workforce 
  • Current Standard 11 and QLD Drivers Licence.
