With decades of experience behind us and an exciting pipeline of upcoming work, we're growing — and we're looking for a driven, hands-on Site Supervisor - Commercial Construction to deliver major projects across Mackay & Whitsunday Regions. This role is ideal for a QBCC-Licensed Supervisor with strong experience across Commercial Builds, Civil Works, and Site Management.
About the Role
As a Site Supervisor-Commercial Construction, you'll play a key role in delivering quality projects safely, on time, and on budget. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of sites and leading teams to achieve excellent outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:

Opening and closing construction sites daily

Driving projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met

Supervising construction teams and subcontractors to deliver quality work

Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and safety systems
-
Conducting regular site inspections to identify and eliminate safety hazards
-
Enforcing site safety rules and managing incidents in line with company procedures
-
Analysing plans and specifications to ensure works meet design, safety, and budget requirements

Carrying out site works and tasks as required

Completing quality inspections and ITPs

Maintaining accurate attendance records and daily site diaries
-
Evaluating team performance and promoting a collaborative site culture

Liaising with principal representatives and attending site meetings and inspections
About You
You'll bring a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
To be successful, you'll have:

Certificate III in Carpentry (desirable)

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor

Experience in commercial construction, civil works, infrastructure
-
QBCC licenced – Site Supervisor (Medium) or Builder (Medium)
-
Valid White Card, First Aid & CPR
-
Strong knowledge of WHS, QA systems, and ITPs
-
Own Transport
-
A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
-
Reliable and organised and safety-focused
-
Strong communication skills
-
Australian permanent residency status required for this position
